Do Some Good Before All the Good is Done - Great video from The National Christian Foundation

2014 Annual Conference David Wills - PPT

I was blessed, as I always am, to be at the Kingdom Advisors annual conference this year in Florida. The conversation is always great. One of the first conversations we heard was from David Wills of the National Christian Foundation.

Here is the video link:

Between the economy and our national debt it’s hard to find any good news these days but this video is amazing. I hope you enjoy the statistics on the difference that is being made in the world in recent years. It is likely that you have played a part in seeing success in moving our world forward in these areas. I'd love for you to share what you are working on below.

Wills says that this sort of work is like a closed end fund, meaning that only a certain amount of folks are going to be able to invest in these areas before this type of work is done. Polio and Malaria are being eradicated and you can be a part of it. There is only a small window left to get involved in bringing the Bible to unreached people groups before everyone on earth has a Bible in their own language.

Our community has gotten on board with Wycliffe to bring a translation to the Me'paa people group in Mexico who didn't have a word of the Bible yesterday but they will tomorrow. What a blessing that the Western Slope of Colorado can have such a lasting impact on the Western Slope of Mexico. We are blessed to be a part of it. (Read more about the Western Slope Bible Translation Project with Wycliffe here.)

I know that you are doing big things in your community. I want to hear about it. Feel free to leave comments regarding the amazing statistics in the video and share what you care about.

A challenge:

- Watch the video and take in the statistics.

- Once you have, ask God, “where in the world or my community do you want me to get involved?”

- Take action & give generously. If fear of not having enough is keeping you from getting involved to a greater degree, contact the National Christian Foundation or a Kingdom Advisor to dream about how you can invest in eternity.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21
